"Making Excellence Inevitable"
BWHS/Trio Sports T.A.C. Tournament - Registration Now Open
BWHS and Trio Sports is proud to announce our new T.A.C. Tournament to be taking place April 21 and 22, 2012.
This unique tournament will feature T.A.C. skills testing, designed to test a player's ability levels at the most crucial skills to the game of hockey and includes a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to test a player's ability to perform the most crucial movement patterns. This will be followed by a 3 on 3 cross-ice tournament, where players can put their skills to use in game situations. All skills testing and games will be video recorded for analysis and learning/feedback purposes. Classroom and video review will provide players the opportunity to learn about the Trio Tool Box, and how important their mental abilities and toughness are to success at Elite levels.
This tournament will feature brackets for an Elite Camp open to elite level Peewee, Bantam and Midget players and a Main Camp open to community level Peewee and Bantam players.

BWHS/Trio Sports Summer Camps
BWHS and Trio Sports will be hosting our 9th annual Summer Camp. Over the past 9 years, BWHS has been developing athletes and forging potential into elite performance in preparation for the upcoming season. This year, several changes have been made to further improve our camps, the biggest being that we have changed the formatting of our Main Camp to match that of our Elite Camp.
MAIN CAMP GOES TO ELITE FORMAT:
The Elite camp format created a few years ago has proven to be exceptional at combining skill development with actual games to maximize preparedness for the tryouts. The response and results have been overwhelming so we have brought it to the main camp. Camp numbers will be reduced to only 3 groups broken into 6 teams (2 of which will be limited to elite PeeWee players born '00 & '01) that will compete each afternoon in full game situations. Video review of the games will occur each day and the rest of the Elite curriculum will round out the day.
